CLEVELAND — Northeast Ohio has been blanketed in fog -- and visibility is extremely low in spots.
That's why, for the second day in a row, the National Weather Service has activated a Dense Fog Advisory in Northeast Ohio until 11 a.m. Thursday.
Until then, however, officials warn that driving conditions could be hazardous due to the low visibility.
“If driving, slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you,” according to the weather alert from the National Weather Service.
Once the fog lifts later today, 3News meteorologist Hollie Strano says we can expect partly to mostly sunny skies with mild temperatures. That warming trend continues for the next several days with temps topping 70 degrees in the weekend ahead.
