NORTH CANTON, Ohio — Severe weather, major flooding and hail made its way through the Northeast Ohio region Saturday evening.
Flash flood warnings were issued for Medina, Trumbull, Portage, Stark and Summit counties as severe thunderstorms made it's way through Northeast Ohio.
Wind gusts of up to 60 miles an hour and quarter-sized hail were forecasted, along with potential damage to trees and power lines. Canton, Massillon, and Medina were among the communities that were hit hardest, with Akron feeling the effects of the damaging weather as well.
The North Canton Police Department shared a live video on their Facebook page showing extreme flooding on the corner of 7th Street NE and Marquardt Avenue.
