Flood Warning still in effect for several spots in Northeast Ohio

Flooded road conditions.

CLEVELAND — After a soaking wet Monday, we are still dealing with a few spots that remain under a Flood Warning.

Here are the impacted areas:

  • Lorain County's Black River at Elyria until 1:27 p.m. "The river is expected to rise above flood stage early this morning to a crest of 9.6 feet."
  • Trumbull County's Eagle Creek at Phalanx Station until 9:10 p.m. "The river is expected to rise above flood stage early this morning to a crest of 9.7 feet late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon."

All previously issued Flash Flood Warnings and Flood Advisories have since expired.

Although there was still a swath of rain moving through a portion of Northeast Ohio on Tuesday morning, we're expecting conditions to dry out with some sunshine and highs in the 80s.
