ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- Heavy showers and thunderstorms caused flash flooding on Northeast Ohio highways Monday evening.
Much of the area was under a flash flood watch as localized flooding made some area roadways briefly impassible.
A portion of I-90 westbound was closed briefly in Rocky River due to flooding, according to ODOT. Eventually, a few lanes reopened, slowly allowing traffic through. All lanes were open by 10:20 p.m.
