A Freezing Rain Advisory, that had been put in place for several counties early Friday morning has expired.
Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake and Trumbull counties are under a Freezing Rain Advisory were under the advisory until 10 a.m.
12 other counties had their Freezing Rain Advisory lifted hours early by 6:30 a.m.
A Freezing Rain Advisory is issued when icing is expected in the affected areas, but not enough to disrupt travel significantly or damage trees and power lines.

The forecast now calls for periods of steady, heavy rain Friday into Saturday.
