Wind chill advisory in place for all of Northeast Ohio

The cold weather has triggered weather alerts and school closures across the region.

CLEVELAND — The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued the following weather alerts -- including a Wind Chill Advisory that has expanded to include more counties. 

The National Weather Service is advising that wind chills will be as low as 15 below zero. School districts across the region have also canceled classes Wednesday, and you can view the full list here.

As the wind continues on Saturday, the temperatures will also be dropping.

“We’re talking bands of snow tomorrow with gusty winds — especially up toward the north. It is going to be a cold, raw day,” Wintz said.
