Snow parking bans issued in Northeast Ohio amid winter storm: See the list

Vehicles in violation of a snow parking ban may be ticketed and towed.

SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio — Heads up! If you typically park your vehicle on the street, you may need to be prepared to move it as snow parking bans take effect amid the winter storm.

Be sure to check this story frequently as we will update this list alphabetically as more locations announce snow parking bans. Here are the snow parking bans currently in effect throughout Northeast Ohio:

  • Brooklyn: A parking ban is in effect from Nov. 1 through April 1 from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. or whenever snow exceeds 2 inches
  • Cleveland: In effect until Saturday at noon; click here for a full list of affected roadways
  • Cleveland Heights: In effect until further notice
  • Fairview Park: In effect until 11 p.m. Friday
  • Garfield Heights: In effect until further notice
  • Grafton: In effect until further notice
  • Green: In effect until Sunday at noon
  • Hudson: In effect until Friday at 7 p.m.
  • LaGrange: In effect whenever snow exceeds 2 inches
  • Lake Township: In effect until Sunday at noon
  • Maple Heights: In effect until further notice
  • Mogadore: In effect until Saturday at noon
  • Newburgh Heights: In effect until further notice
  • Parma: In effect until further notice
  • Parma Heights: In effect until Saturday at 11 a.m.
  • Richmond Heights: In effect until further notice
  • Sagamore Hills: In effect from until Saturday at 6 p.m.
  • Stow: In effect until further notice
  • Tallmadge: In effect until further notice 
  • Wadsworth: In effect until further notice
  • Warrensville Heights: In effect until further notice
  • Westlake: In effect whenever snow exceeds 2 inches

"Regulation of parking on township streets during snow emergencies is necessary in order to expedite clearing and / or treating of snow or ice," officials in Sagamore Hills noted in a press release Wednesday.
