CLEVELAND — The National Weather Service reports that a tornado touched down in Huron County on Wednesday.
The EF-0 tornado came down southwest of Willard just after 6 p.m. EF-0 tornadoes are classified as weak strength with winds of 65 to 85 mph.
"An EF-0 tornado occurred in Richmond Township at 0611 PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. The tornado started south of Coder Road, moved northeast across the road and damaged a metal barn, pushed a 5th wheel trailer, and caved in the garage doors. The tornado proceeded northeast, crossed Bigham Road, and dissipated. Debris was deposited along Bigham Road," the National Weather Service reported.
There were no injuries or fatalities as a result of the tornado.
