May your days be... brown and gray?

There's nothing like waking up to a fresh blanket of snow on Christmas morning.

The ground sparkles and the quiet air creates a serene setting before the kids tear into their presents.

Unfortunately for Northeast Ohioans, the chances of seeing a white Christmas in 2019 are slim to none.

As we look ahead to next week's forecast, we're expecting temperatures to rise, meaning — dare we say it —  the days could be a bit warm for this time of year. They'll certainly be too warm for snow.

As of Thursday morning, we're predicting a high of 48 degrees on Christmas Day. It'll be perfect weather if you want to take a Christmas hike, but leave the sleds at home.

But remember, you can always find snow at your local ski resort. On Wednesday, 3News reported that Boston Mills-Brandywine ski resorts open this weekend, just in time for Christmas.
