Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for most of Northeast Ohio

The watch is in effect until 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for parts of Northeast Ohio.

CLEVELAND — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for nearly all of Northeast Ohio. The Watch will remain in effect until 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening. 

Residents in the effected area may be able to expect strong winds, hail, and even possible tornadoes. 

Additionally, several Northeast Ohio counties are also under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, including Holmes, Stark, Summit and Wayne counties.
