The Red Cross provided a list of ways the public can give back.

The Northeast Region of the American Red Cross has deployed five disaster workers to assist Ohio residents following Monday's tornado outbreak.

A growing number of responders from across the state are en route to assist storm victims in and around Dayton, Harrison and Butler Townships, Brookville, Trotwood, and Riverside. The group estimates that approximately 130 residents are currently seeking refuge following damage or destruction to their homes.

The Red Cross is prepared to provide shelter and emergency supplies.

The organization has also provided a list of four ways the general public can assist with the recovery efforts.
