SANDUSKY, Ohio — Severe thunderstorms tore through Northeast Ohio on Friday, and while there hasn't been a great deal of damage reported, buckets of rain still poured down across the region.
Among the hardest-hit areas was Cedar Point, which opened this week after the start of the season was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic. Photos and videos posted on the CP Rundown Facebook page show portions of the amusement park flooded, forcing guests to scatter and rides to shut down.
The park is back open today, and the forecast appears to be a bit clearer with no weather warnings currently in effect. However, we're still looking for your storm photos from yesterday.
