CLEVELAND — The weather roller coaster in Northeast Ohio is continuing this weekend as we track lake effect snow throughout Northeast Ohio.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning for the following counties:
Winter Weather Advisory in effect until Sunday, at 10 p.m.
- Lake
- Medina
- Portage
- Summit
- Trumbull
The National Weather Service is expecting accumulations of 2-4 inches, with wind gusts potentially reaching as high as 35 miles per hour. Additionally, drivers are asked to be cautious as NWS expects slippery road conditions and patchy blowing snow, causing reduced visibility.
Winter Storm Warning in effect until Sunday at 10 p.m.

- Geauga County
The National Weather Service is expecting total snow accumulations of 5-7 inches and wind gusts as high as 35 miles per hour in Geauga County. The highest snow totals are expected to be in northern Geauga County. Travel may become difficult as patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. In Cuyahoga County, accumulations of 4-6 inches are expected, with wind gusts reaching as high as 40 miles per hour.
