PAINESVILLE, Ohio — It's baaaaaacccck!
Although Halloween hasn't even arrived yet, Mother Nature is delivering a quick taste of winter weather.
We've had some snowflakes flying throughout Northeast Ohio this week as abnormally cold temperatures have settled into the region.
Video from Painesville captured the moment some of the snow started to stick in Lake County. You can watch the quick clip in the player at the top of this story.
This wintry weather won't last much longer, though, because temperatures are about to rebound -- big time -- as mild air returns and brings us back to the low 70s by the upcoming weekend.
Oh, and for those of you keeping track... Winter officially arrives on Wednesday, Dec. 21. While that is still more than two months away, the National Weather Service in Cleveland says the region’s first average snowfall date is in early November as listed below:
- Akron-Canton: Nov. 9
- Cleveland: Nov. 10
- Mansfield: Nov. 15
- Youngstown: Nov. 4
