CLEVELAND — It is going to be a very windy day across Northeast Ohio throughout the day into the evening. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for multiple counties in Northeast Ohio, which is in effect until 9 p.m.

3News' Payton Domschke is warning Northeast Ohio residents that the wind may impact their plans this weekend, "If you have any outdoor plans today, wind is likely to have an impact. Gusts at times are likely to exceed 30-40mph. If you've already put-up outdoor decor for holidays to come or even have Halloween stuff still on display, make sure it's secure early today. "
Here are the counties under the Wind Advisory:
- Ashland County
- Erie County
- Huron County
- Lorain County
- Ottawa County
- Richland County
- Sandusky County
- Seneca County
The counties under the advisory could experience winds of 20-30 mph, with gusts of up to 50 mph.

The National Weather Service warns that tree limbs could be blown down and power outages may result from the winds.
“Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle,” officials with the National Weather Service said. “Secure outdoor objects.”
