Pickle Fest fundraiser returns to Cleveland this weekend

Pickle Fest, the Greater Cleveland Volunteers biggest annual fundraiser of the year, returns this weekend.

CLEVELAND — Calling all pickle lovers! The sixth annual Cleveland Pickle Fest fundraiser returns this weekend.

The event, which is hosted by Greater Cleveland Volunteers, features a variety of pickle items -- including pickle beer, pickle candy, pickles on a stick, pickle ice cream and more.

It's set to take over Mall C in downtown starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. You can buy tickets HERE.

During a preview Thursday morning, Greenberg shared the moment he tried "The Crazy Cucumber" dill pickles, as well as Pickle-Beer from Hoppy Dude's Brewing Co. out of Hinckley.

"Cleveland Pickle Fest is a celebration of pickles and volunteerism in Cleveland," according to the event's site. "Volunteers are a BIG DILL. Proceeds from the event support Greater Cleveland Volunteers programs and services to volunteers and nonprofits in Cuyahoga County."
