CLEVELAND — You know the saying, "patience is a virtue?" Well the internet's most recent challenge is putting the patience of toddlers to the test. And before anyone, get carried away, no children were harmed in the making of these videos(at least as far as we know).
For about a week the #Fruitsnackschallenge has served as a sweet break from the monotony of coronavirus headlines. The challenge features parents placing fruit snacks in front of their children before telling them to wait and to not touch the snacks until they return from made-up task off-camera.
As you can imagine, the results varied.
However, this week, the challenge regained popularity after reality TV star and entrepreneur, Kylie Jenner, took on the challenge with her two-year-old daughter, Stormi. In the video, Kylie places a large bowl of M&M's in front of Stormi before " heading to the bathroom." While she is away, Stormi is seen reaching for the bowl of treats but suddenly decides against it,singing a song about patience instead.
Seriously, it's the cutest. Watch for yourself in the clip below.
After Stormi's rendition, the challenge began taking on the #Patiencechallenge moniker. But Kylie wasn't alone, other moms wanted in on the fun! Gabrielle Union and daughter, self-proclaimed "shady baby," daughter Kaavia are the most recent celebrity pair to take on the challenge.
Kaavia was not in the mood for her mom's rules. However, 3News anchor Maureen Kyle's kids were up to the task!
Check out how other mom's fared participating in the challenge with their kids. How do you think your own children would do?
