CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Northeast Ohio's summer concert season is getting another big-name act.
Phish on Tuesday announced the full schedule for their 34-date spring and summer tour, which kicks off in late May. The list includes a concert at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, their only stop in Ohio during the three-month road trip.
Once called "the most important band of the '90s" by Rolling Stone, Phish never achieved the massive commercial success of other groups of their era but their debut album "Junta" did go platinum in 1989 and singles "Down with Disease" and "Free" made the U.S. Mainstream Rock charts. Their distinctive style and dedicated fanbase also helped inspire several musicians, such as members of Maroon 5 and Radiohead.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Feb. 25, but select seats are already available. Prices are as low as $49.50, and you can get more information at phish.com.
