Calling all Michael Stanley Fans!
A second, Among My Friends Again concert, honoring the legacy of the Cleveland icon has been added. The first one, scheduled for December 3 at MGM Northfield Park, sold out during pre-sale.
According to organizers, this is the first time in MGM history that a concert has sold out ahead of going on sale to the general public.
The second show at MGM Northfield Park will be held on Saturday, December 4.
Among My Friends Again is set to feature songs that span five decades from Stanley's early beginnings, to his work with the Michael Stanley Band, to The Resonators, and more.
Tickets go on sale to Friday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. HERE. Organizers say a portion of every ticket will be donated to the newly formed 10,000 Watts of Holy Lifght Fund of The Cleveland Foundation, which will identify Cleveland-centric organizations and dedicate annual donations as part of their mission.
“We wanted to find a way to continue to celebrate our father’s involvement with local charitable organizations,” said his daughters Anna Sary and Sarah Sharp. “Using our father’s musical legacy and the partnership with the highly respected Cleveland Foundation, 10,000 Watts of Holy Light of The Cleveland Foundation will shed light on and provide financial support to important Northeast Ohio charitable institutions. We know our father would love that his music will continue to bring happiness and memories for years to come.”
