CLEVELAND — While Taylor Swift did not make an appearance in Cleveland, she did have an emissary there on Sunday — and not just in the form of her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Despite rampant speculation throughout town — including on WKYC airwaves — Swift was not in attendance for Kelce's homecoming as the Cleveland Browns hosted the Chiefs for their Week 15 meeting. While that might have disappointed Swift fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the pop superstar inside Huntington Bank Field, they did get to see a native Northeast Ohioan who has shared the stage with her for decades.

Paul Sidoti, who Swift fans will recognize as the singer's longtime lead guitarist, performed pre-game as players took the field. The Browns posted video from his performance on social media, making light of the persistent Swift rumors.

A Strongsville native who joined Swift's band in 2017, Sidoti has performed for Browns fans before, playing the Star Spangled Banner at a home game last year. He's also played the national anthem for the Cleveland Guardians.

Browns legend Bernie Kosar posted some videos from Sidoti's Saturday rehearsal on social media.
