SANDUSKY, Ohio — Want to score a free ticket to Cedar Point this summer?
The American Red Cross has partnered with Cedar Fair theme parks across the country -- including Cedar Point in Sandusky -- in an effort to help boost summer blood supply in exchange for a free ticket.
HOW TO DONATE BLOOD TO GET YOUR FREE CEDAR POINT TICKET
The Red Cross says those who donate blood at select drives in Northeast Ohio this summer will receive a free Cedar Point ticket in addition to other Red Cross incentives.
“All those who come to donate at select blood drives will receive one free ticket, valid for entry to Cedar Point, while supplies last,” according to the Red Cross. “Tickets are valid during the 2024 season and other restrictions may apply.”

“Appointments for these blood drives are highly encouraged,” according to the Red Cross. “Donors without appointments are not guaranteed a Cedar Point ticket, as supplies are limited.”
The Red Cross says they’re in critical need of blood and platelet donors “following a concerning recent trend” of fewer donors.
“Donors of all blood types are needed now, especially those with type O blood and donors giving platelets,” according to the Red Cross. “The need for blood doesn’t take a summer break.”
