CLEVELAND — Kelly Clarkson understands that this is a difficult time for everyone, which is why the singer dropped her new single ‘I Dare You’ today.
In the song, Clarkson dares listeners to love and not hate, and says that the song took her nearly a year and a half to write.
Clarkson, who is currently isolating with her family in Montana, said that she had reconsidered releasing the song today but that the timing just felt right.
"I thought it was kind of globally connecting, and I wanted to do that musically, then all this happened...and we became extremely connected globally” Clarkson said. She wasn’t kidding either, she performed the song in six different languages.

Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True may already be two-years-old, but it wouldn’t seem as though co-parenting with ex-boyfriend and Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson is getting any easier.
On tonight’s episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians,’ Khloe sits down with mom, Kris Jenner, to have the difficult discussion regarding sharing custody with Thompson, especially during the NBA season.
“I really have not put much thought into how True is going to visit Tristan in Cleveland” Khloe says, “just kind of been avoiding this conversation."
With the NBA season on-hold at the moment because of the coronavirus, it looks like the conversation is avoidable for the moment.
