CLEVELAND — Since 2002, Mike Polk Jr. has been entertaining audiences in Northeast Ohio and around the nation as a comedian, writer, commentator, and creator of some of the funniest and most widely shared videos on YouTube.
We, of course, have been delighted to have Mike on our 3News team ever since he came aboard this past summer.
In the latest edition of Pressure Life Magazine, Mike is profiled in a cover story titled 'Polk on Polk.'
There's a lot you thought you might have known about Mike. However, Alex Bieler comes right out and hits you with this opening paragraph:
Mike Polk Jr. is not afraid to talk. Whether he’s on stage, in print, or in front of a camera, Polk is typically willing to share his view on the topic at hand. However, there is one topic that can leave the comedian at a loss for words.
“I can talk in most situations, but I’m bad at talking about myself,” Polk says. “It’s never been something I’ve been particularly good at.”
The cover story features thoughts from Mike about his career as an entertainer, some of his legendary YouTube videos, and why he decided the time was right to come aboard our team at WKYC Studios.
