UNIONTOWN, Ohio — This is Kelsey and Ryan Mansingh -- but you may know them as the Newbuild Newlyweds on TikTok.
With more than one million followers, the newlyweds took to TikTok after losing their jobs at Disney back in 2020.
They started uploading all our their old projects -- and it blew up from there.
Despite building a brand-new home in Florida, the couple decided to move from the sunshine state to Uniontown after purchasing a 1974 fixer-upper.
"A lot of our followers joke and they say, 'This is our house.' As soon we walked in I just loved the character," Kelsey tells 3News.
Their work features renovations that may look easy, but they say there's so much more than meets the eye.
"It’s always a longer process and she’s good at cutting in what needs to be shown and everything," Ryan said.
"Some things take days to do, they take hours," Kelsey added. "TikTok definitely glorifies things to make it look super easy and super quick."
From kitchen cabinets to a bathroom backsplash and even a cat room, the self-taught DIY duo are incredibly handy, both working together through every project.
"Sometimes the projects gets heated, but we always work it out," Ryan said.
"We balance each other out really well," Kelsey said.
