AVON, Ohio — As the coranvirus pandemic sweeps the nation, we could all use sign of happiness.
For the people at the Prayers from Maria Foundation, happiness comes in the form of sunflowers. On Tuesday, the foundation announced that they would begin selling sunflower masks in limited quantities.
The handmade masks are currently only available in a standard size. Kids masks are also being made, but are being donated to local children battling cancer, according to the Foundation's website.
The masks are available for purchase online for $20. To purchase a mask, click here.
The Prayers from Maria Foundation works to fund global research into " the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for the deadliest childhood brain tumors known as gliomas," according to their mission.
The Prayers for Maria Foundation was started by Ed and Megan McNamara after their 6-year-old daughter Maria died from a cancerous brain tumor back in 2007.
