LORAIN, Ohio — Chick-fil-A is expanding in Northeast Ohio once again as the chicken chain opens its first restaurant in Lorain with its official debut on Thursday, March 10.
The new location at 5400 Leavitt Road – which also includes approximately 150 jobs – will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The drive-thru will remain open until 10 p.m.
“To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A Lorain will surprise 100 local heroes making an impact in the Lorain County area with free Chick-fil-A for a year,” restaurant officials tell 3News. “Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America, distributing the funds to partners in the greater Lorain area to aid in the fight against hunger.”
Chick-fil-A Lorain will also implement the Shared Table program, which donates surplus food to local soup kitchens, shelters and nonprofits to feed those in need.
