CLEVELAND — Our news partners at Cleveland.com have compiled a list of 24 “restaurants and retailers with the most food inspection violations” -- with the worst offender facing 97 citations.
While their list contains two dozen locations, we're highlighting the three places that received the most violations based on reports from the inspection year ranging from March 2023 through February 2024.
#3: Sunoco Family Foods Express
3363 East 93rd Street
Cleveland.com's report says state records show this location "had 90 food inspection violations during the inspection year."
#2: Tick Tock Tavern
11526 Clifton Boulevard
This location received 91 food inspection violations, including 38 on Dec. 4, 2023 -- eight of which were listed as critical.
#1: Indian Delight
5507 Detroit Avenue
With 97 violations listed, Cleveland.com's report shows Indian Delight had 10 labeled as critical -- including three as recent as Feb. 15, 2024.
