CLEVELAND — Halloween hasn't even arrived yet, but Christmas is in the air as Great Lakes Brewing Company is already gearing up for the holiday season.
That's right! Christmas Ale is back! GLBC's annual Christmas Ale “First Pour” celebration took place on Thursday morning.
“Our brewer elves are hard at work preparing everyone’s favorite seasonal tradition: Christmas Ale!,” according to a post on the Great Lakes Brewing Company’s site before the event.
If you couldn't make it to the "First Pour" event in person, GLBC says cans, bottles and kegs of Christmas Ale will be sold in their gift shop starting Oct. 22. Those same products will begin appearing in stores Oct. 25.
As the "First Pour" event unfolds, COVID safety protocols will also be in place.
“To ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and customers, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test administered within 72 hours of the event will be required upon entry for ALL guests,” GLBC posted on their site.
Guests who are not able to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test will not be admitted to the event.
“Refunds will not be issued for guests who do not meet these safety requirements," GLBC added.
