BAY VILLAGE, Ohio — A monstrous Halloween decoration mishap in Bay Village is capturing some attention on social media after police shared video of a giant pumpkin inflatable blocking the road.
Bay Village police say the "runaway pumpkin" happened Monday in the area of Wolf and Saddler roads.
“Luckily, no officers (or pumpkins) were harmed during the event,” police wrote on Facebook. “Once backup officers arrived, the pumpkin was returned to the homeowner.”
The video, which you can watch below, shows the moment one officer was “swallowed” by the pumpkin decoration when it tumbled on top of him.
