Kandy Kane Ball in Cleveland: Event features toy drive for kids

Guests are required to donate a toy as part of their admission.

CLEVELAND — With Christmas right around the corner, the annual Kandy Kane Ball is set for Friday night at the Truss Event Venue in Cleveland with the continued mission “to get toys into the hands of as many underprivileged kids as possible.”

This year’s theme is “Grinchmas” as event organizers say they’re decking the halls with whimsical decorations, holiday trees, photo ops and more.

Tickets are on sale for $100 HERE. The event runs from 8 p.m. until midnight.

“All guests are required to bring a toy donation as part of their ticket entry or make a financial donation of $25 or more to go towards a toy purchase,” according to the event’s site.

Those toys will then be distributed to St. Malachi during a pizza party with Santa.

So what can you expect at the Kandy Kane Ball? Highlights include an open bar with signature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres by Truss, Jack Frost Donuts and a live band.

Guests must be 21 and older to attend the event.
