NOVELTY, Ohio — Geauga County's humane society, Rescue Village, will close their doors to the walk-in public beginning Thursday March 19 due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Potential adopters are encouraged to visit Rescue Village's website (rescuevillage.org/adopt) to see a listing of their current pets that are available for adoption.
Anyone who would like to meet an animal can fill out the adopter survey forms that are on Rescue Village's website.
Once the survey is received, an adoption counselor will contact the adopter and make an appointment for an in-person meeting.
Appointments will be scheduled every day from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Rescue Village says they are committed to the safety of their staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Anyone with questions on the new adoption procedure is encouraged to call Rescue Village at 440-338-4819.
