CLEVELAND — We love having our Wags 4 Warriors pup, Roxy, in studio every Tuesday. But we also take pride in seeing her at community events where she puts her service training on display.
Over the weekend, Roxy and several other service dogs proudly represented Wags 4 Warriors at Tunnel 2 Towers climb, which took place at One Cleveland Center.
The event was started by the family of New York City firefighter Stephen Siller, who died on September 11, 2011. Siller, who was off-duty at the time the first plane crashed into the World Trade Center, raced from Brooklyn through Battery Tunnel to help rescue as many people as he could before he died in the collapse.
This was the first year, Tunnel 2 Towers was held in Cleveland. Proceeds from the event go to help families of fallen first responders and our military heroes.
Roxy was joined by fellow Wags 4 Warriors service dogs Bandit and Raquel. While she was “working” for much of the event as part of her training, Roxy was released to take pictures with attendees at this very worthwhile cause.
