CLEVELAND — A 16-year-old was fatally shot while driving a potentially stolen vehicle in Cleveland early Sunday morning.
According to Cleveland police, officers responded to 6512 Clark Avenue for a report of a male shot at 2:54 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found the 16-year-old male victim down in the street near a Jeep SUV.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say a preliminary investigation indicated that the victim was operating the Jeep and that the vehicle had possibly been stolen. It is also believed that the victim was driving when he was shot.
A 21-year-old male suspect was arrested in connection with the incident. An investigation remains ongoing.
