AKRON, Ohio — An Akron man who was recently highlighted as the US Marshals of Northern Ohio's Fugitive of the Week has been arrested.
Kenneth Thomas was arrested on Thursday, April 13, after leaping out of a second-story window at 1131 Victory St. in Akron in an unsuccessful attempt to evade authorities. The 31-year-old Thomas had previously been wanted by the Akron Police Department on charges of gross sexual imposition of a juvenile and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office for trafficking fentanyl.
He is also now facing local charges of obstruction of official business and resisting arrest in relation to his arrest, in which he was apprehended following a foot chase after leaping from the second floor.
