ASHTABULA COUNTY, Ohio — Authorities are searching for a suspect they say is considered armed and dangerous after a 60-year-old woman was killed in Ashtabula Township on Thursday afternoon.

It was around 6 p.m. when deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the 3300 block of State Road.

“Upon arrival, Kristyna Keenan was found deceased in the driveway of her home from an apparent gunshot wound,” according to details released by the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning.

Authorities say the preliminary investigation determined a male suspect driving a dark-colored sedan pulled into a CVS and waited for the victim to arrive home.

“The suspect exited the vehicle and proceeded toward the victim’s house, where he fired multiple shots," authorities said.

The suspect then returned to his vehicle while traveling west on East Prospect Road.
