CANTON, Ohio — An individual is in critical condition after being shot in the head in Canton.
At approximately midnight on Monday, November 6, Canton police officers responded to the 3600 block of Ellis Avenue Northeast after receiving a call about an individual "possibly having a firearm" in the area.
When officers arrived to the residence, they found an unresponsive victim who had been shot in the head.
The victim was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital by the Canton Fire Department and is currently listed in critical condition. The name of the victim is currently being withheld until their family is notified.
No arrests have been made as the Canton Police Department continues to investigate the shooting.
