Crime Stoppers is now offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of persons responsible for the shooting.

CLEVELAND — Cleveland Metroparks police officials and the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office are asking for the public's help in identifying multiple suspects involved in last weekend's shooting at Edgewater Park.

According to a joint release, officials say "multiple suspects exchanged gunfire" just after 9 p.m. on Saturday. In all, 16 individuals are accused of "brandishing weapons" and several of them "discharged their firearms."

On Friday, officials released photos of 15 suspects.

While Cleveland Metroparks police says it is going through a "detailed and thorough investigation to identify those individuals involved and to hold them accountable," Crime Stoppers is now offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of persons responsible for the shooting.

“We are working to identify the suspects involved in this incident and utilizing all law enforcement resources available,” said Cleveland Metroparks Police Chief Kelly Stillman in the release. “This type of criminal behavior will not be tolerated anywhere within Cleveland Metroparks and we are working in close coordination with our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute all suspects to the full extent of the law.”

A 17-year-old male suspect was taken into custody by Cleveland Metroparks police officers on Saturday and has been charged with felonious assault, discharging a firearm in a prohibited place, carrying concealed weapon, having weapons under disability, and receiving stolen property.

Metroparks officials reported that "one victim was located on scene" and transported to an area hospital for treatment and later released.

The case remains an active investigation.

In addition, O'Malley's office says it will be providing a grant to Cleveland Metroparks "to augment and enhance technology to help prevent future incidents of this type."

“There are people in this community who continue to make excuses for this type of behavior. They need to wake up and realize this type of violence is going to end in a loss of life and destroy our community,” added Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley.

Amid the investigation into the shooting, Cleveland Metroparks canceled Thursday night's Summer Concert at Edgewater Park "out of abundance of caution."

Cleveland Metroparks also provided surveillance video showing the moments surrounding the shooting.

In the footage from the gazebo, you can see the crowd scattering as the shooting begins at approximately the 2:22 mark.

At the same 2:22 mark from the parking lot camera, you can see also see people running, followed by a police presence at the scene.
