CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for the public's help in identifying three persons of interest in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man that occurred in January.
According to Cleveland Police, the three individuals are believed to have stolen a Kia on January 24, 2023 that was later used in the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Tysean James on the same day. The three persons of interest may reside in or frequent the Cedar Estates area.
Anybody with information regarding these individuals is asked to contact investigators at 216-623-5464. Anonymous information can also be provided by calling Crimestoppers at 216-25-CRIME. A cash reward of up to $5,000 may be available.

Cleveland Police officers responded to 3939 Community College Avenue at the Quincy Gas Station for shots fired at approximately 9:10 p.m. on January 24. The victim was conveyed to MetroHealth Medical Center via EMS and was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation determined that the victim was in the lot with a group of people when an unknown number of suspects began firing in the direction of the group, with the victim being struck in the chest. No official suspects have been identified.
