Cleveland Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and woman on the city's west side on Tuesday.
According to reports, officers responded to West 54th Street and Storer Avenue for reports of shots fired and two people shot inside of a car.
At the scene, officer found the man, 33 years old, in the driver's seat suffering a gunshot wounds to the neck and the woman, 28 years old, suffering gunshot wounds to the chest and neck.
Officials provided aid to the victim until EMS arrived and pronounced both victims dead at the scene.
The victims were identified as Alonszo Lewis of Medina and Stephanie Lee of Cleveland by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.
As part of the investigation being lead by homicide detectives, witnesses were interviewed and a 29-year-old potential suspect was identified. The man was later detained by the District Violent Crimes Detectives and a handgun and narcotics were recovered.
It is unknown at this time the suspect's relation to the victims or a potential motive for the fatal crime.
