CLEVELAND — Cleveland Police are asking for the public's help identifying a vehicle and a suspect that were involved in a fatal hit-and-skip in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to Cleveland Police, the incident occurred at 12:15 a.m. when a vehicle was that operating northbound in the 3200 block of East 55th Street in the left lane collided with a 41-year-old woman who was standing in the left lane of the roadway. The driver of the suspect vehicle proceeded to flee the scene.
Police believe that the vehicle involved in the incident is a tan or gold SUV with damage to the front grill and hood area. Anybody with information regarding this incident is asked to please contact the Accident Investigation Unit at 216-623-5295 or Det. Moten 216-623-5290.
