CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a video that was posted online showing two people pointing guns at an officer.
Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association President Jeff Follmer tells 3News that he hopes the individuals in the video are held accountable for their actions. Follmer said the video brings up concerns regarding the safety of officers.
"You pray everyday that everyone goes home safely," said Follmer. "It's not a day that goes by that you hope you don't get a phone call that somebody's not coming home."
Cleveland Councilman and chair of the Cleveland Public Safety Committee, Mike Polensek, said the individuals put the officer and themselves in a dangerous situation.
"It could have been a deadly situation," said Polensek."You have to ask yourself 'what were they thinking?'"
Cleveland police confirmed that the video is under investigation but didn't release any further details.
