SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — Authorities are asking for the public’s help with information connected to a weekend shooting in Coventry Township that left a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.
It was around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when deputies with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of shots fired in the 2900 block of South Arlington Road.
“It was determined a vehicle was leaving an after-hours party when occupants of a light-colored SUV fired rounds at their vehicle,” according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. “Deputies determined the vehicle had been struck by rounds fired by a rifle and a handgun. The vehicle had three occupants.”
One of those occupants was shot in the head. He was taken to the hospital where authorities say he is listed in stable condition.
