CANAL FULTON, Ohio — A reward worth up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary of D&D Precision in the 2300 block of Locust Street South in Canal Fulton.
The reward money -- which was announced Tuesday morning by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives -- comes two weeks after the incident occurred. Authorities say it was back on April 25 when “four individuals drove a stolen vehicle into D&D Precision to gain entrance to the building” around 4 a.m.
Those suspects reportedly stole nine firearms before fleeing the scene in a different vehicle. Images shared from authorities show the suspects were wearing masks at the time of the incident.
The burglary is being investigated by the ATF Columbus Field Division along with the Canal Fulton Police Department.
Anybody with information about this case is asked to call the ATF at 1-888-ATF-TIPS (888-283-8477). Tips can also be submitted via e-mail at ATFTips@atf.gov or through the ATF site HERE.
The ATF says this reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative in which the National Shooting Sports Foundation matches rewards in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed retailers.
