GREEN, Ohio — Four suspects -- including two teens -- have been arrested after an alleged attack in the city of Green where authorities say a 25-year-old man was attacked by multiple people wearing masks.
In details provided Wednesday morning, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office says it was around 7 p.m. on July 13 when authorities responded to reports of a fight at Arlington Ridge.
“Witnesses told deputies multiple suspects wearing masks jumped out of vehicles and attacked the victim,” according to a press release from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. “The suspects subsequently fled the scene.”
The victim was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries, while deputies say they located one of the vehicles a short time later and initiated a traffic stop.
“The occupants of the vehicle were still wearing the masks described by witnesses,” according to the press release.”
The suspects were identified as follows:
- 20-year-old Brandon E. Fisher of Akron
- 20-year-old Tayton J. Coles of Mansfield
- A 17-year-old boy from Akron
- A 15-year-old boy from Akron
The sheriff’s office said deputies also found a handgun under the seat inside the vehicle.
All four suspects were charged with felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon. Fisher and Coles were taken to the Summit County Jail. The teens were taken to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
“Additional charges are pending the outcome of the investigation,” according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
