KENT, Ohio — Police in Kent are searching for the man wanted for the murder of a 35-year-old woman on Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials, Kent police officers responded to a home in the 1300 block of South Water Street after someone reported hearing screams and possible gunshots. When officers entered the home, they found a woman had been fatally shot. Her name has not yet been released.
The suspect has been identified as 44-year-old Dawan R. Wilson. Investigators say Wilson had a domestic relationship with the victim.
Police have obtained a warrant for Wilson for the charge of aggravated murder and are working to locate him.
