CLEVELAND — A 30-year-old man was fatally shot following a robbery that occurred behind a gas station in Cleveland on Friday night.
According to Cleveland Police, officers responded to W. 73rd Street and Lorain Avenue at approximately 8:20 p.m. for a report of a man shot in the alley behind the gas station. Upon arrival, officers found the victim down with multiple gunshot wounds and administered aid until EMS' arrival.
EMS transported the victim to Metro, where he was pronounced dead.
According to a preliminary investigation, it is believed that the victim was robbed by a male wearing a full face mask and a dark hoodie. The suspect is alleged to have shot the victim before also taking his bicycle.
