MANSFIELD, Ohio — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left five people hurt in Mansfield.
It happened around 11 p.m. Monday along Sturges Avenue as the victims were shot while outside of a residence during a party.
All five shooting victims -- including one teen -- were taken to a local hospital for treatment. One of them was put in surgery with multiple gunshot wounds, but police did not have any information on the victims' conditions as of 11 a.m.
No suspects or vehicles have been identified in connection with the crime, but anybody with information is asked to call detectives at 419-755-9766.
Police say they are still looking for any suspects as they continue to investigate. Numerous shell casings, an unspecified amount of drugs and other evidence was collected at the scene, police said.
Authorities said as many as 10 people were outside the home at the time of the shooting with an unknown number of people inside.
