ORANGE, Ohio — Police in Orange Village have arrested the man they believe to be responsible for vandalizing multiple homes in the area, including with antisemitic graffiti.
According to a press release from the department, an officer was in the same neighborhood where the house was targeted last week and saw 37-year-old Ryan Kellogg going up to the same home and spraying it again. The officer identified the suspect as Kellogg and began chasing him, and eventually, authorities from no less than eight law enforcement agencies were able to capture Kellogg at his own residence in the village.
Last week, Orange Village police confirmed two homes in the same neighborhood had been spray-painted, with one being "marked with a symbol of Jewish hate."
"The Orange Village Police Department will leave no resource unturned in our pursuit, apprehension and prosecution of anyone that commits such cowardly and abhorrent acts against anyone in our village," officials said in a statement. "At this time, we believe Kellogg acted alone."
Kellogg faces charges of menacing by stalking, ethnic intimidation, vandalism, criminal damaging, and resisting arrest. He is currently being held in the Solon Jail and is due to be arraigned Tuesday.
