PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio — *EDITOR'S NOTE: The above video is from February of 2020.
Authorities are asking for your help finding two suspected deer poachers.
According to a recent post from the Parma Heights Police Department Facebook page, two men killed a buck with a crossbow back on Nov. 7. The duo allegedly hit the deer and ran, never retrieving the animal from the location. A trail of blood was left going into the woods close to Stumph/Big Creek Parkway.
It is illegal to hunt in Parma Heights, while in Ohio it is required that if you have a hunting license, you must tag and claim the animals that you kill.
"Turn them in if you know them," police wrote. "There are plenty of places you can legally hunt. Parma Heights is not one of them."
Those who recognize the truck or the men involved are encouraged to contact Parma Heights Sgt. Jeff Krepina at (440)-481-3098 or jkrepina@phpd.us.
