CLEVELAND — We told you last week about a rash of break-ins at at the Refine Church on Broadview Road in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood.
There appears to be a break in the case.
New surveillance video released by Refine Church shows two people walking around the premises, again, looking for a way to break in. In fact, they even say it on tape.
"This time around, we were able to capture them coming from the neighbor's backyard and into the parking lot," explains Pastor Luis Vizcarrondo.
That's because these cameras caught the thieves coming in and out with items from inside the church. Since then, police have been looking for the trio.
"They're very bold and for some reason they feel emboldened that they just have to come back and destroy this place even more," Vizcarrondo adds.
So far the church has been broken into three times. But every time it gets harder to get in because church members have really secured the building. And every time the thieves come back, the Cleveland Division of Police get closer to solving the crimes of the unfaithful servants.
"Having at least a license plate obtained through the city's cameras, they (police) are trying to ID the suspects." says Vizcarrondo.
Police also now have a witness who says he saw the trio of suspects going inside the church, but thought they were part of the construction crew.
